The School Council is composed of community stakeholders in education. The council has a formal structure and is governed by a set of by-laws outlined by Alberta Education. The group is chaired by a parent and includes representatives from school staff, administration, parents and the local community. The body serves to provide input into school decisions, share concerns and facilitate communication. All sessions are open and all parents are encouraged to attend meetings.
